Women In Need Industries

       Women in Need Industries (WINI) is a non-profit organization located in Southern Maine.  

     WINI’s programs and services help women to gain personal independence and economic stability. 

          We are dedicated to assisting disadvantaged and displaced women and their families.

          "Whether the transition is due to civil war in a foreign country or violence at home, international upheavals or the closing of a local employer, substantial barriers – language, culture, economics or knowledge – often stand in the way of building a new life."

          WINI also helps women and families with the transition to new communities, assisting them to become active members and participants in their new society.
